Folkestone Flashers Return 10th August 2009

Well, not a great turnout for this event, which is a shame considering all the time and effort that Denis put into it, however, those who attended enjoyed it very much. Those attending were, Ann, G4RJZ, Tony, G4IMP, Tim, G4IVL, myself and of course, Denis G0SLJ.

Sadly, due to the rain, we decided to set up indoors, but it was enjoyable non the less for that. Denis had gone to a lot of effort to make it interesting as well as help us learn.

Tim, Ann and Tony did very well, whilst I, as usual, struggled to put two words together! Never mind, practise will make perfect....eventually.

The next meeting will be at Crete Road West on 07/09/09 meeting at 19:00 ish, wx permitting. Please listen out on GB3FK from 18:00 to hear confirmation of this. If it is obviously raining, then we will meet at Earlsfield 19:30 as usual.
